Sunderland is a city undergoing significant transformation, with major regeneration, cultural investment, and new opportunities helping to increase resident pride and optimism. Recent resident survey findings show growing levels of satisfaction with Sunderland as a place to live and increasing numbers of residents who believe the city is thriving. However, the evidence also highlighted that these positive perceptions were not being felt equally across all communities, particularly in some of the city's more outlying neighbourhoods or more traditionally under-heard groups.
