Chicago has 77 diverse and unique neighbourhoods, each with its own exciting arts, culinary delights, historical narratives, and vibrant communities. To authentically represent these diverse neighbourhoods, and to counter negative media narratives about the city and neighbourhoods, it is imperative that all the team’s efforts be led by residents and small business owners.
This community-led, equity-focused, and resident-centric work has been executed in a number of ways. The team partnered with 30 neighbourhood chambers of commerce to be their eyes and ears on the ground, and to empower neighbourhood ambassadors to champion their communities.To access please sign in.
